This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with an exceptionally highly regarded organisation possessing a reputation for providing the highest standards of services to their enviable blue chip client base.
You will have a key role in ensuring the effective management and control of UK wide weekend warehouse operations and will be responsible for ensuring a first-class professional service provision is delivered across all client organisations. The role is responsible for managing the weekend warehouse operations, the hours of work is based over 27 hours and within the hours 6am – 6pm over Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility in your working hours in order to suit the needs of the business, particularly at peak operational periods.
You will have a challenging, variable and highly rewarding role leading and managing weekend Warehouse operations within a fast-moving warehousing and logistics site. Your role duties and responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing all Warehouse operational activities to ensure the highest standards of Warehouse service provision are delivered at all times
- Leading and managing all operational activities to meet company targets in relation to quality, delivery and cost
- Working closely with all internal and external stakeholder groups
- Operational management of weekend warehouse staff
- Manage and control materials supply ensuring consistent availability to meet all operational requirements
- Ensure the highest standards of work environment and health and safety is maintained at all times
You will have an in-depth background and experience managing all areas of warehouse and associated operations within a dynamic, fast paced warehousing environment. You will be a natural people leader and have led and supported lean / continuous improvement activities across all areas of warehousing activities. Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have first class customer facing experience and be well versed leading and managing client engagement.
