Our client is an organisation developing advanced workforce management solutions for major employers across the UK. They are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to help shape the architecture and delivery of their core systems while driving innovation across a modern .Net and Azure environment.
This is a senior hands-on leadership role where you will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and oversee technical delivery from concept to completion. You will work closely with Product, DevOps and QA teams to ensure high standards of performance, scalability and reliability across the platform.
What you will do:
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle from design through to delivery
- Architect and develop scalable backend services using .Net, C#, and Azure
- Guide RESTful API and microservice development across distributed systems
- Champion TDD and maintain a quality-first engineering culture
- Oversee containerised deployments using Docker and Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align technical delivery with product goals
- Mentor and support engineers to ensure consistent technical growth
What you will bring:
- Strong background in backend development using .Net and C#
- Experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical lead
- Proficiency in Azure App Service, Container Services, and CI/CD pipelines
