We are seeking a reliable Machine Operative to join our client's team in a new state of the art facility, based in the Eurocentral area, with an excellent chance to go permanent in due course.
Your Time at Work
- the main role involves setting and operating a production line, handling raw materials, working around machinery.
- Working to set targets and deadlines
- General cleaning and housekeeping of the factory
- Ensuring safety and meeting quality standards
- Assisting engineering team
- For those with forklift licence, you may also be assisting at the end of the production process as well as moving raw materials.
Our Perfect Worker
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role
- Comfortable working with and near machinery and operating control panels
- Reliable and committed to working a rotating shift pattern
- Own transport may be required due to location and shifts.
Key Information and Benefits
- Rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday
- Immediate Starts
- Β£13.60 per hr, starting pay rate - early/back shift
- Β£16.96 per hr for night shift hours should you wish to move to nights - only if an opportunity comes up.
- Regular overtime available and paid at 1.5x & 2x.
- Full 40 hours paid weekly
