Responsibilities

  • Accurately process payrolls of varying complexity in line with deadlines and statutory requirements
  • Perform manual gross-to-net calculations, including complex tax codes and retrospective adjustments
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the payroll cycle
  • Keep up to date with HMRC, Auto-Enrolment, and statutory legislation
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practice initiatives

About You

  • Ideally you hold a payroll qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex payrolls
  • Strong knowledge of HMRC requirements, and payroll legislation
  • Experience using payroll systems
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
  • Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues
