We are recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our team at our client's busy logistics operation based in East Kilbride. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and fast-paced transport team, supporting fleet and operational activities to ensure the smooth running of transport and distribution services. This role is ideal for organised and detail-focused individuals who enjoy working in a structured and compliance-driven environment.
This is a full-time night shift position, working 12 hour shifts on a 2‑week rota covering 7 shifts across 14 days. This is initially a temporary role, with the potential to move into permanent employment. The salary is £33,559.50 per annum.
Your Time at Work
- Supporting daily transport administration to keep operations running smoothly
- Monitoring vehicle servicing, MOTs, and legal compliance
- Coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Updating and maintaining transport systems and records
- Providing accurate information to the planning team
- Communicating with drivers, internal teams, and external suppliers
- Supporting transport plans and escalating any issues where needed
- Assisting with fleet movements and equipment processes
