The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
An excellent opportunity to join a multi-national company who operate in the pharmaceutical sector. You will initially work on a temporary contract, but steady ongoing work is expected with a chance to go permanent.
Responsibilities:
- You will be part of a small team responsible for the filling and packing areas to support the production of finished products.
- Carry out packing activities on a semi-automated filling line, including hand packing.
- Operate within GMP regulations and H&S protocols.
- Carry out additional activities as directed by the supervisor (i.e. cleaning, warehouse activities).
- Complete verification and basic inspection.
- Complete paperwork as directed by the supervisor (i.e. batch paperwork, cleaning logs).
Our Perfect Worker:
- Experience of working within a production environment preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills required for checking batch numbers versus orders.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Drive and willingness to achieve targets and learn new responsibilities.
- Own transport may be required due to shift work and location.
- "Good manufacturing practices" (GMP) knowledge would be an advantage, with some basic work experience including sanitation, hygiene, quality systems.
Key Information and Benefits:
- You will be working in a small close-knit team in a modern factory.
- Working hours are rotating early and back shift Mon-Fri: 6am-2:30pm / 2:30pm-11pm Mon-Thu & 6am-11am / 11am-4:00pm on Fri.
- £14.46 per hr inclusive of shift allowance.
- Overtime may be available and paid at 1.5x mid week / double time on Sunday.
