We are recruiting for a Class 1 Walking Floor / Injector Driver and Loader to join a waste management company based in Cumbernauld. This role involves both driving and operating specialist equipment to move and process waste materials. It suits someone practical, safety-focused and comfortable with a mix of driving and on-site duties.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a Class 1 walking floor or injector vehicle to transport waste materials
  • Operate walking floor and injection equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload materials in line with site procedures
  • Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks
  • Ensure all loads are secure and compliant with legal requirements
  • Complete delivery notes and maintain accurate records
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines on-site and on the road
  • Assist with general site and loading duties when required

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous walking floor, injector or similar experience preferred
  • Good understanding of health and safety within waste or industrial environments
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • Flexible attitude to duties and working hours
