We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team at our client's waste management site based in Cumbernauld. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, full‑time work with a well-established operation. This role involves a mix of driving and on‑site duties, operating specialist walking floor equipment, and supporting day‑to‑day site activity.

This is a full‑time position working Monday to Friday with a 6:00am start. The pay rate for this role is £15 to £17 per hour, with overtime available after 8 hours.

Your Time at Work

  • Driving a Class 1 vehicle to transport waste materials
  • Operating walking floor equipment safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading materials in line with site procedures
  • Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
  • Ensuring all loads are secure and legally compliant
  • Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
  • Following all on‑site and road safety regulations
  • Supporting general site duties where required

  • A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Experience with walking floor or similar equipment preferred
