Brightwork are delighted to be supporting a key client in the appointment of a newly created Senior HR Advisor role, introduced as part of continued business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive HR professional to join a leading, forward-thinking organisation and play a key role in shaping and delivering people initiatives across multiple divisions.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior HR Advisor will provide comprehensive HR support across the business, managing complex employee relations, supporting business leaders, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation across the UK and Ireland. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact — coaching managers, supporting HR projects and change initiatives, and helping to embed a positive, people-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence.
  • Partner with managers to deliver an effective recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Review and update HR policies and ensure consistent application across all divisions.
  • Lead or support HR projects such as restructures, TUPE, and engagement initiatives.
  • Deliver HR training and workshops for line managers.
  • Produce and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the HR team.

About You

  • Proven experience in an HR generalist or senior advisory role, ideally across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment law (knowledge of UK law advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing/production desirable.
  • Confident managing complex ER cases and supporting organisational change.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about continuous improvement.
