Our client, in Fife, is looking for exceptional chefs to deliver delicious, healthy meals to its residents while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Organise and prepare meals ensuring that all are balanced and nutritious and adhere to dietary requirements
- Comply with industry food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Cleaning and washing up after meals and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen
- Ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up to date
- Make sure all food and other items are stored correctly
- Ensure the cooking and serving of meals are in accordance with the menu
Qualifications
- Proven record in a care home setting is mandatory
- Must be able to supply an up to date food safety level 2 or 3 certificate
- PVG membership number to be provided for renewal
- Candidates must be able to cope with all resident dietary requirements and maintain professionalism at all times
Key Information and Benefits
- Your rate of pay will be £16.50 and will be paid to you on a weekly basis. Your holiday pay will be accrued on top of your hourly rate.
