Join Our Team as Planning Manager
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Brightwell are growing rapidly and as a result they are actively seeking a new Planning Manager to join their Capacity Planning team. This is an exciting time to join them in a small, close-knit team who have fostered a culture of curiosity and always asking ‘why,’ things happen in the way they do. You will get the opportunity to influence key stakeholders across the business and really continue to pave the way for effective short- and medium-term capacity planning.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, maintain and evolve forecasting and capacity planning models to predict demand, optimise resources and support operational decision‑making.
- Analyse performance against forecast, identify trends and provide insight and recommendations to senior leaders and operational teams.
- Collaborate with business change, insight, reporting and external service providers to ensure accurate assumptions, robust data and well‑aligned planning models.
- Lead regular performance and planning reviews with operational stakeholders, highlighting fluctuations, validating trends and shaping future plans.
- Support the onboarding of new pension schemes and contribute to the wider Operational Governance Framework.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships, champion BTPS values and help balance member experience with operational requirements.
