If so, we want to hear from you! Due to growth and demand across our new and existing clients, we are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is a pivotal part of the finance team, responsible for reporting and control activities across both our pension scheme services and the wider Brightwell group, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all related activities.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the monthly valuation sign off for pension scheme clients.
  • Undertake daily, monthly, and quarterly financial reconciliations and reviews across both pension scheme clients and the Brightwell group.
  • Support the accounts payable process through the review and recalculation of management fees.
  • Provide support in the preparation and audit of pension scheme and Brightwell annual statutory financial statements.
  • Assist in the completion of financial control activities.
  • Provide support and cover for the Scheme Accountant and the Corporate Accountant.

This role is a Conduct Rules role under the SMCR regime. You must comply with any and all relevant regulatory responsibilities assigned to the role.

This role would suit someone with:

  • Graduate degree in accounting/finance or similar mathematical or business-related discipline.
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire for professional development within the sector.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Highly motivated, strong work ethic, self-starter.
  • Experience working in the financial sector and any existing pensions knowledge is desirable.
