We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our after‑school club team. Working under the direction of the After School Club Leader, the Play Worker will support the safe and effective day‑to‑day running of the provision.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in a range of play‑based activities.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment at the end of the school day.
  • Follow established routines and procedures.
  • Support behaviour management.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the wellbeing and enjoyment of all pupils.

Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in working with children.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Dedication, flexibility, and the ability to work as a member of a team.

Working Hours

Up to 15 hours per week, 3 pm – 6 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

Salary

£13.05 to £13.26 per hour (Grade 4), equating to an annual salary of £8,561 to £8,696.

Contract

Fixed Term – Term time only, commencing September 2026.
