This is a contract, on-site Project Quantity Surveyor role based in Watford. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, planning, and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring accurate assessments of project costs, providing detailed cost reports, and assisting in the preparation and management of budgets. The individual will work closely with project teams to support cost-effective and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management methodologies to ensure project financial efficiency.
- Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conducting detailed cost planning exercises.
- Skilled in Cost Reporting and the ability to present financial data and analysis clearly.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills relevant to Quantity Surveying.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to manage relationships with stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software tools for cost analysis and reporting.
- RICS accreditation or working towards professional certification is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
