Who We Are Looking For
Working as a business analyst and subject matter expert within project delivery teams, this role is an opportunity to help deliver high-impact initiatives using Aladdin data. We are seeking experienced Aladdin Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with a strong background in asset and wealth management, deep expertise in the Aladdin platform or Aladdin data and excellent data analysis skills. This is a contractor role with client-facing responsibilities. The role is hybrid, allowing some work from home but requiring regular on-site presence in London.
Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert: Build detailed understanding of reporting requirements, including data definitions and interpretations. Act as a go-to expert on Aladdin data, processes and capabilities, providing guidance, ownership of issues and problem solving to ensure project success.
- Data analysis: Identify necessary source data from Aladdin data, define detailed data mappings and transformation logic and document via user stories.
- Solution design & development: Collaborate on the design and implementation of complex investment data reporting solutions, ensuring solutions meet both business needs and technical requirements. Participate in configuration and low code development activities to support solution delivery.
- Stakeholder management: Effectively manage relationships and dependencies between internal business teams and project delivery teams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and expectation management across all stakeholders.
- Quality assurance: Maintain high data quality standards by designing test scenarios, scripts, and data quality rules to validate outputs and quality assure reporting outcomes.
- User acceptance testing: Support user acceptance testing including writing test scenarios, triaging defects and defining resolutions.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience of working with Aladdin.
- Understanding and experience of working with the Aladdin data model, preferably via ADC.
- Experience of working with Aladdin data in some or all of the following areas: Cash flows, Security master, Margin and collateral, Stress tests.
- Experience of working in a scrum team and writing user stories.
- Strong business analysis and data analysis skills. Ability to define complex data transformation requirements and problem solve complex data gaps and data quality issues.
