Who We Are Looking For
Working as a business analyst and subject matter expert within project delivery teams, this role is an opportunity to help deliver high-impact initiatives at the intersection of investment technology, data & analytics, and business strategy within the Aladdin ecosystem.
We are seeking experienced Aladdin Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with a strong background in asset and wealth management, deep expertise in the Aladdin platform, public and private assets modelling and excellent stakeholder engagement skills
This is a contractor role with client-facing responsibilities, requiring regular on-site presence.
Responsibilities
- Aladdin expertise: Act as a go-to expert on Aladdin data, processes, and capabilities, providing guidance, ownership of issues and problem solving to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder management: Effectively manage relationships between Blackrock Solutions (BRS), internal business teams, and project delivery teams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and expectation management across all stakeholders.
- Solution design & development: Collaborate on the design and implementation of complex investment management processes, including public and private asset modelling and analytical report development, ensuring solutions meet both business needs and technical requirements.
- Project delivery: Work within a broader project team to define business requirements, outline solutions by assessing current state and designing the future state and drive timely delivery of core platform features.
- Quality assurance: Maintain high quality standards by designing test scenarios, scripts, and quality rules to validate inputs, processes and outputs.
Competencies, Skills & Experience
Successful candidates will possess a combination of the following skills and experience (not necessarily all):
- Industry expertise: At least 7+ years of experience in asset and wealth management, with a proven track record of implementing Aladdin and delivering solutions within the Aladdin ecosystem.
- Investment data analysis: Strong ability to analyse both public and private financial assets and related analytics, including cash flows, positional data, derivatives terms and conditions, and security static data.
- Inquisitive problem-solver: Curiosity and persistence in asking the right questions to uncover critical information, clarify requirements, and fully understand the business context before proposing solutions.
- Strong communication skills: Able to convey complex concepts and requirements clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across all parties.
- Professional Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as CFA Charterholder, CQF, or equivalent are advantageous.
