Objectives of this role
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue and exceed targets.
- Identify and secure new corporate and MICE business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Enhance the hotel’s presence within the marketplace through networking and proactive sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with hotel teams to maximize sales opportunities and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Provide accurate reporting and analysis to support business growth and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Research and identify new opportunities within the corporate and MICE sectors.
- Actively pursue new local corporate business and establish long-term partnerships.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients to ensure sustained revenue growth.
- Conduct sales presentations, site visits, and networking events to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
- Collaborate with the revenue team to establish profitable pricing strategies.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and nurture existing client accounts to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for corporate and MICE clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Work closely with the hotel General Manager and Head of Sales to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide regular updates and market insights to the Senior Management Team to inform strategic decision-making.
- Market Positioning & Brand Awareness
- Increase hotel visibility through active participation in networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.
- Develop partnerships with local businesses and key market influencers.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Prepare and present accurate sales reports, tracking performance against targets.
- Provide market analysis and insights to inform revenue management strategies.
- Contribute to the development of company-wide sales initiatives and local marketing activities.
