Brightsparks, a full service creative agency specialising in behaviour change for social good, is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to manage the bid lifecycle in order to build upon our existing portfolio of large charity and public sector clients.

The role is perfect for a Bid Manager with experience of project managing end to end business development bid projects and producing high-quality proposals.
All of the projects the Bid Manager role will touch will be social purpose projects so this represents a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in people\’s lives every day.
We believe in work-life balance. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or other remote locations. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons on average, three days a week.
The role will be a permanent contract at 35 hours per week.
What you will be doing:
As a Bid Manager, you will identify, scope, and deliver quality bids aligned with service areas and growth targets:
- Manage the full bid lifecycle to ensure successful proposals.
- Write, edit, and quality-assure bid content and documentation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to research and refine bid content.
- Lead, manage, and support staff and contractors effectively.
- Maintain and develop business development tools, including the bid library and tracker.
- Meet performance targets and KPIs for bid volumes and quality.
- Analyse bid outcomes and client feedback to drive improvements.
Who we are looking for:
- 3 years business development experience which must include bid and tender development experience.
- Experience project managing end to end business development bid projects from searching and scoping stage through to contracting.
- Experience working collaboratively with colleagues across a range of disciplines to gather the information required to develop quality bids.
- Experience storyboarding, writing and editing quality bids, in line with specifications and client requirements.
Interviews for this role will take place on the week commencing 26th March 2025.
