We are a high-growth Managed Service Provider (MSP) with a strong reputation across Scotland and an expanding presence across the UK. With data centres in Dundee and Aberdeen, we're recognised as one of Scotland's leading IT brands. Our portfolio has evolved to include public cloud, backup-as-a-service, cybersecurity, colocation, networking, and private cloud solutions.
In April, we accelerated our growth by acquiring Synergi, a Newcastle-based Microsoft specialist. This strategic move expanded our consulting capabilities, strengthened our Microsoft offering, and added 60 experts to the Brightsolid team.
As our Channel Sales/Partner Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our growth by developing and managing strategic relationships with channel partners—including resellers, distributors, and managed service providers.
- Channel Strategy and Growth
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies focused on hybrid cloud adoption and managed hosting services.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners aligned with Brightsolid's hybrid cloud offerings.
- Partner Enablement
- Provide training and resources to ensure partners can effectively position hybrid cloud solutions.
- Collaborate on co-branded marketing campaigns and lead-generation initiatives that highlight hybrid cloud benefits.
- Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and identify hybrid cloud growth opportunities.
- Performance and Reporting
- Establish sales forecasts, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms for hybrid cloud channel performance.
- Monitor and analyse partner sales metrics, suggesting improvements where needed.
- Commercial Negotiation
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commission structures to create mutually beneficial agreements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to ensure alignment on hybrid cloud strategy and messaging.
Due to the secure nature of the work, we operate a hybrid working policy requiring presence at one of our UK locations at least once a month, at your manager's discretion.
