An established organisation delivering complex, technically challenging projects is looking for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering delivery from concept through to completion.
This role sits at the heart of project execution, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing technical interfaces, and ensuring engineering outputs are delivered safely, to the right quality, on time and within agreed constraints. You’ll act as the focal point for engineering across the project lifecycle, working closely with project, commercial, construction, and operations teams as well as external partners.
If you enjoy leading technically complex work, influencing project outcomes through strong engineering judgement, and driving high standards across design and delivery, this is a role with real impact.
Requirements:- Degree qualified in engineering or a related technical discipline
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
- Strong leadership and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to manage engineering deliverables, reviews, approvals, and change
- Solid understanding of engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Confident communicator with the ability to work with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Comfortable working in structured, regulated project environments
- Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making capability
- Significant experience in engineering project delivery within complex, regulated environments
- Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners
- Track record of managing engineering scope across multiple project phases
- Experience with technical assurance, design reviews, and change management
- Background in supporting constructability, operability, and maintainability through design
- Experience working closely with project controls, construction, commercial, and operations teams
- Proven ability to manage technical risk, interfaces, and competing priorities
- Preference for experience in Hydrogen, Biogas, Biomethane, Anaerobic Digestion projects
