I'm currently supporting a growing energy transition platform seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of renewable energy projects. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to move beyond a purely design-focused role and become a key decision-maker across project development, engineering assurance, grid integration and project execution.
Key areas of focus include:
- Technical leadership across battery storage and distributed energy projects
- Engineering assurance and design review activities
- Grid connection strategy and engagement with DNOs and network stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery teams through construction, commissioning and energisation
- Managing technical interfaces with suppliers, OEMs, EPCs and consultants
- Identifying and mitigating technical risks across the project lifecycle
- Contributing to the evolution of engineering standards, processes and best practices
The ideal profile will bring:
- A strong background in electrical engineering, power systems or energy infrastructure
