Transaction Advisory – Infrastructure & Energy Europe
Our clients are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Transaction Advisory Consultant with a focus on the Infrastructure and Energy sectors to join a well-established team and presence in the market. This role combines strategic transaction support with proactive business development across the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex and large transactions, while also contributing to the firm’s growth by cultivating new client relationships and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Advisory:
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients on market entry, asset optimization, and portfolio management.
Provide unparalleled due diligence for asset and company transactions covering market, commercial, regulatory, operational, technical and environmental aspects of each transaction.
Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including investment memos, presentations, and transaction reports.
Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands within the infrastructure and energy sectors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to enhance the firm’s presence in target markets.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Contribute to proposal development, pitch presentations, and commercial negotiations.
Key Requirements:
• Experience: 8+ years in transaction advisory, corporate finance, or project finance, with a focus on infrastructure and/or energy sectors.
• Commercial, Technical or ESG due Diligence experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Experience working across Energy, Power or Infrastructure: Ports, Waste, water etc
