Safety Process Engineer opportunity in a well-funded, leading company within renewable energy. The role will suit a high performer, with initiative who will enjoy working in a fast-paced and expanding Systems Engineering Department. Responsibilities:
- Conducting risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards, recommending suitable design solutions and risk management.
- Liaise with licensees, EPCs and end users in the development of interface risks and mitigations as well as overall plant requirements.
- Identify and classify hazardous areas and oversee adherence to safety standards.
- Creation, maintenance, and verification of safety cases compliant with all regional regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on the selection and installation of pressure relief systems to prevent over-pressurization and equipment failure.
Experience Required:
- Degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial safety engineering, with a focus on safety at an industrial scale.
- Strong logical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
