We are currently supporting a fast-growing UK energy transition platform focused on developing and commercialising large-scale low carbon infrastructure projects across the industrial and power sectors. The business is playing a key role in supporting decarbonisation efforts through major energy and infrastructure developments, with significant long-term investment and growth plans across the UK market.

They are currently searching for a Commercial Manager to join their team. You will be supporting the commercial strategy and execution across complex energy infrastructure projects. The position combines elements of commercial analysis, market intelligence, stakeholder engagement, contract support and customer strategy development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of customer and offtake strategies across industrial and power markets
  • Assisting with the structuring, negotiation and management of long-term commercial agreements, including PPAs, energy offtake agreements and related commercial frameworks
  • Conducting market, pricing, policy and regulatory analysis across UK power and energy markets
  • Supporting negotiations and preparation of commercial documentation
  • Working closely with customers, investors, advisors and counterparties to support commercial deal execution
  • Assisting with route-to-market analysis, revenue optimisation and identification of commercial upside opportunities across projects
  • Coordinating internal legal, technical, financial and regulatory workstreams throughout commercial negotiations

The business is looking for someone with experience in commercial, strategy, business development or investment-focused roles within the energy or infrastructure sectors. Candidates with exposure to power markets, PPAs, infrastructure development, utilities, low carbon energy, energy trading, regulatory frameworks or complex commercial contracting would be particularly relevant.

This is a role for someone commercially minded with strong analytical capability, stakeholder management skills and an interest in working within a rapidly evolving area of the UK energy transition market.
