A highly innovative, venture-backed deep technology company is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Lead to drive its upcoming Series A fundraising round ($10–12 million). This is a pivotal role working directly with the CEO and leadership team to secure capital and position the business for its next phase of growth.
You will take full ownership of the end-to-end fundraising process, from shaping the investment narrative through to closing the round. This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of deep tech innovation while building long-term strategic impact within a scaling business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end Series A fundraising process, targeting a $10–12 million raise
- Develop and articulate a compelling investment strategy and narrative
- Build, manage, and convert a high-quality pipeline of relevant investors, including venture capital firms and strategic partners
- Lead investor outreach, meetings, and negotiations through to successful close
- Prepare and refine investment materials, including pitch decks and financial storytelling
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on capital strategy
- Proven track record of leading and closing Series A (or similar) fundraising rounds
- Experience within deep tech, hardware, industrial, or climate-related sectors
- Strong and active investor network across the $2–20 million check size range
- Background spanning venture capital, startups, or investment roles
- Comfortable operating at C-suite level within a high-growth environment
- Highly execution-focused with a hands-on approach
- Able to build momentum quickly and deliver from day one
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving scale-up environment
- Interested in developing a longer-term role beyond the initial fundraising process
