Brightsmith are pleased to be partnering with a Low-Carbon Infrastructure company, looking to scale up the Operational team. Driven by heat network expansion, heat pump adoption, and the transition to low‑carbon energy infrastructure, our client is building a platform designed to deliver and operate heating systems at scale. As Head of Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping and leading the operational function during a key phase of growth. This is an opportunity to join a business moving from project delivery into long‑term asset operation, helping establish the systems, processes, and leadership capability required to operate as a modern energy infrastructure business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading day‑to‑day operational delivery across heat pump and heating infrastructure projects
  • Building scalable operational processes, systems, and performance frameworks
  • Managing service delivery, maintenance, and operational performance
  • Driving customer satisfaction and service excellence
  • Leading contractor and supply chain performance
  • Supporting business growth through operational planning and resource management
  • Developing and mentoring operational teams
