We’re hiring across multiple positions within their Development & Delivery team - the group responsible for taking projects from early-stage concept through construction and into operation. These roles offer the chance to work on pioneering low‑carbon infrastructure that directly contributes to the energy transition.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK from late development through to commissioning. The Project Engineer will oversee technical aspects of project delivery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. You will support multiple projects across a range of renewable technologies and contribute directly to the growth of sustainable energy infrastructure.

- Monitor progress, identifying risks, delays or issues and implementing solutions
- Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Oversee governance, documentation and compliance with UK regulations and grid requirements
- Degree, HND or similar qualification in engineering, project management or a related field
- Minimum 6 years experience managing utility scale battery storage projects of 20 MW or more. Candidates with utility scale solar or wind experience will also be considered
- Ideally with an electrical engineering background and hands on battery storage or grid connection experience
- Practical knowledge of the UK grid connection process is required
- Familiarity with control systems and SCADA is desirable
- HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Electrical engineering is preferred, but mechanical engineering will be considered with relevant experience
- Practical experience of UK regulatory frameworks, grid connection processes and planning requirements
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Experience managing budgets, supervising contractors and mitigating project risk
- Ideally based in the Midlands or South of England, though candidates willing to travel will be considered
- Home based initially, with 2 to 3 days per week required in London
- Proactive, solutions driven approach to project delivery
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Commitment to sustainability and the transition to low carbon energy
- Experience using project management software and engineering tools
This is an opportunity to contribute to the UK's transition to low carbon energy and support the delivery of renewable infrastructure that will shape the future of sustainable power.
