Brightsmith are pleased to be representing a climate technology company developing processes to recover and reuse high-value materials from industrial waste, supporting sustainable manufacturing in a broad range of sectors, including aerospace.
Please note that experience with start-up companies and technical confidence with composites (explicitly carbon fibre) are strongly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with prospective customers and industry partners
- Lead technical discussions relating to composites materials, applications, and processing requirements
- Capture and communicate customer requirements to internal technical teams
- Support customer engagement throughout the commercial lifecycle
- Contribute to collaborative R&D activities and grant-funded project development
- Build relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, research organisations, and academic partners
- Monitor market trends, funding opportunities, and developments in sustainable composites
- Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities
- Support marketing and communications activities aligned with commercial and technical objectives
Requirements:
Essential
- Background in composites, advanced materials, or related manufacturing sectors
- Commercial or customer-facing experience within a technical environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience contributing to collaborative or funded innovation projects
- Comfortable working in a growing or early-stage business environment
- Strong organisational and relationship management capabilities

- Experience with sustainable or recycled materials
