Brights is a well-known and highly regarded local firm which has been in business for more than 140 years; we are deeply embedded in the local communities and businesses throughout Essex and beyond. We are a forward looking and highly computerised business and offer remote and flexible working from any one of our four offices in Maldon, Witham, Danbury and Tiptree.
We provide a level of service comparable to larger local and regional firms. We maintain a friendly and supportive environment and many of our staff have been with us for most if not all of their working lives. Our fee earners enjoy a level of support which is better than many of our competitors and we have a defined career structure; we actively look to advance fee earners to associate and full directorship.
We offer a full range of benefits including pension contributions, free healthcare and five weeks holiday (as well as an additional four or five days holiday over the Christmas period) and a bonus structure. We also provide structured training and development for all staff and embrace remote working to suit the needs of our staff and their families and part time and flexible working hours.
We are currently looking for two additional fee earners to supplement our existing team, one at a lower level of qualification (from newly qualified to two years PQE) and the other at a more senior level (at least five years PQE). No following is required. We have a very busy department providing a full range of services, from simple wills and powers of attorney to detailed estate planning and administration of high value and complex estates involving cross border issues. We also specialise in contentious probates. We can guarantee a varied and interesting caseload depending upon the candidate’s level of experience with full support in terms of mentoring and secretarial cover.
