The Opportunity
We’re working with a high-performing, established commercial business that knows exactly what good sales looks like. This is not a role where you’re left guessing. You’ll walk into a setup that is built for success - data provided, systems in place and a clear expectation of what “good” looks like from day one. It looks and feels corporate & professional in terms of your pitch and the stakeholders you engage with but internally it feels warm, friendly and encouraging – got to be a reason why so many of the team have 10 even 15 years tenure here! If you enjoy being on the phone, like working to targets and want your effort to directly impact what you earn, this is the kind of environment where you’ll do well.
The Role
This is a dedicated lead generation role focused on one thing - building a strong pipeline. You’ll be speaking with businesses, asking the right questions, qualifying properly, and booking meetings that convert. The stronger the quality of what you pass over, the stronger the results across the team. It’s simple, but it requires consistency, confidence, and a bit of edge.
What You’ll Be Doing
- High-volume outbound calls
- Reaching out via email and LinkedIn - Sometimes think out of the box of phone calls alone.
- Speaking with decision-makers and qualifying opportunities
- Booking quality meetings for Account Executives
- Keeping Salesforce up to date and organised
- Working closely with the sales team to maximise conversion
What Success Looks Like
There’s no ambiguity here - the targets are clear: 120 dials per day, 12 meaningful conversations, 2 qualified meetings booked per day – but there is the potential for many more than this! We have aimed to be very realistic. Hit your numbers, and you’ll be in a strong position.
What You’ll Earn
£30,000 basic salary. Projected average: £1,000+ per month in commission – Uncapped, so double this or more is possible. Very Realistic OTE: £42,000+. No need to source your own data. No time wasted look out poor leads. You’re set up to focus on conversations and results.
Progression
This role is designed as a stepping stone into closing. High performers can expect to move into an Account Executive position within their first year. As a guide, consistently hitting target performance (around 40–50 qualified meetings per month) will put you in a strong position for promotion. More ownership, more responsibility, and a higher earning potential.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development
- Confidence on the phone and comfortable handling objections
- Target-driven with a competitive mindset
- Resilient, consistent, and coachable
- Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or diallers is beneficial
The Environment
You’ll be joining a sales team that takes performance seriously but understands that culture matters. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy environment where people are supported, developed, and recognised for what they deliver. There’s a clear link between effort and reward, and progression is based on results, not time served.
