About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading financial services organisation operating across more than 40 countries worldwide. They are seeking an ambitious Enterprise Business Development Manager to join their growing commercial team. This role is ideal for a proven sales professional who excels at building relationships with senior stakeholders, navigating complex sales processes and closing high-value deals. Unlike traditional business development roles, all opportunities are pre-generated, allowing you to focus your time on engaging decision makers, understanding business challenges and converting opportunities into revenue.

The Role

You will work with medium and large organisations, typically businesses with annual revenues exceeding £30 million, engaging directly with C-suite executives and senior leadership teams. Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle, you will be responsible for developing relationships, delivering commercial proposals and securing new business across a diverse international client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and convert qualified inbound opportunities
  • Build relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Managing Directors and other senior decision-makers
  • Conduct discovery meetings to identify commercial opportunities
  • Present tailored solutions to prospective clients
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close new business
  • Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Represent the business professionally at all times

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven success in a Business Development, Enterprise Sales or Account Executive role
  • Experience selling services or solutions into medium-to-large organisations
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives
  • Strong negotiation and closing ability
  • Commercially driven with a track record of exceeding targets
  • Highly motivated and self-sufficient
