What You’ll Do
Working alongside the Director of Executive Office and Social Impact, you’ll lead on all things health and safety – from designing training and induction programmes to creating risk frameworks and reporting systems. Your influence will help shape a robust safety culture that empowers every team member, contractor, and visitor.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing RACI and training matrices to clarify roles and ensure competency
- Researching and recommending training schedules and providers
- Implementing comprehensive induction and reporting systems
- Supporting policy development and communication
- Delivering clear, data-driven reports on H&S progress and risk
- Evolving the strategy as the organisation grows
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in operational H&S strategy mobilisation or development
- NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications (essential)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and natural communication style

Location: Glasgow-based, with flexibility
With a salary in the region of £40,000 and flexibility to engage as a Direct Employee or a Contractor, this is your chance to shape and support an ambitious health and safety strategy at the heart of a high-energy, purpose-led operation.
Contract Type: PAYE or Limited Company on Rolling Contracts, usually issued in 3 or 6 month blocks.
