About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join a leading provider of L&D solutions. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone looking to develop new customer relationships and grow existing partnerships within a fast-paced, supportive environment. Your role will focus on using the skills gained from our in-house training programme to meet specific sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.

Role Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage with key decision-makers within both new and existing customer accounts via phone and email to create sales opportunities.
  • Prospecting & Account Growth: Generate new business by prospecting for potential customers, while managing and growing existing relationships to maximize sales.
  • Sales Opportunity Qualification: Input, analyse, and prioritise your workload to qualify sales opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare accurate and detailed quotes and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Sales Activity Reporting: Regularly report on your sales activity, using relevant data to track progress and results.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service that leads to positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhance your understanding of products and sales techniques, constantly striving to improve your approach and results.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build rapport with decision-makers and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Sales Cycle Knowledge: Basic understanding of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing sales.
