The recruitment team supports hiring managers across Brighton and contributes to the development and implementation of sound transactional recruitment processes that enable us to recruit a diverse and skilled workforce. The team acts as an escalation point for managers and applicants needing professional support, advice and guidance in complex recruitment situations, and oversees background-checking processes including right-to-work, sponsorship and DBS checks.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • Experience of managing a busy recruitment team.
  • Excellent customer service focus with a commitment to putting customers and their needs at the centre of our work.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively with a wide range of partners in an accessible and inclusive manner.
  • Experience of using IT systems and applications to track recruitment processes.
  • Ability to work independently and plan and prioritise work in a very busy and fast-paced environment.
