The predicted salary is between 27254 - 27694 £ per year.

Location: West Hove Infant School, Portland Road, Hove, BN3 5JA.

Contract: Full time equivalent – salary £27,254 - £27,694 (pro rata to 10.42 hours per term time working).

Contractual hours: 10.42 hours per week (five afternoons, 1.15pm-3.20pm, Monday to Friday).

Start date: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to support children in engaging with their learning and accessing the curriculum in ways that respect their individual needs.
  • Assist with or support interventions such as phonics, reading and speech & language.
  • May be required to work at any of the three federation sites: School Road, Portland Road and Holland Road.

Qualifications & Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with children with additional needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia) is desirable.
  • Experience running phonics, reading or speech & language interventions is desirable.
  • Level B or equivalent qualifications in education support services.
