This role provides 12‑month maternity cover for the Head of Finance team supporting Housing, Care and Wellbeing. You will oversee a net budget of £120m and lead the financial planning and delivery of key services such as Adult Social Care, Homelessness and the Housing division.

Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of the organisation’s key financial objectives and outcomes.
- Provide strategic financial planning and advice to front‑facing services, and contribute to the overall performance and sustainability of the Financial team.
- Produce, manage and monitor large and complex budgets.
- Advise service delivery teams on financial planning and respond to service needs.
- Communicate financial information clearly and accessibly to a wide range of audiences.
- Use spreadsheets and financial systems to support effective financial management and reporting.
- Build inclusive working relationships across teams and services.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in finance/accounting or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
