We currently have an opportunity for a Goods In Supervisor to join the team at our Brighton branch.
Using your experience and knowledge of the retail / wholesale sector, you will support and carry out daily supervisory duties related to the depot goods in operation. You will also support and assist the Delivery Team Leader in achieving and exceeding all depot KPI’s, targets, and objectives.
In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer a competitive salary, 30 days holiday (including statutory holidays), and pension.
This role is full-time (44 hours per week) and permanent, on a 5 & 6 day shift rotation, including weekends.
Key responsibilities include:-
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment, especially regarding material handling equipment.
- Keeping the Goods In area secure at all times.
- Contributing to the achievement of Customer Satisfaction targets and scores in the Depot.
- Driving standards for excellent customer satisfaction and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Acting as an ambassador for Bestway Wholesale.
- Implementing and embedding all company policies and procedures effectively.
- Adhering to Health & Safety policies and legislation.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in a goods in, warehouse, or wholesale environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and retail compliance legislation.
- Exceptional planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction results.
- Team-building skills with the ability to give clear direction and delegate confidently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Experience ensuring 98% stock availability through efficient systems and processes.
