As our Lecturer in English, you will:

  • Deliver exciting and challenging lessons to a wide range of learners undertaking a re-sit of the GCSE curriculum. - Work collaboratively with other lecturers and managers to design a scheme of work which stretches and challenges learners while underpinning recall techniques to provide the best possible outcomes for all learners. - Monitor learner progress and provide both formative and summative feedback throughout the year. Ensure that student needs are met in a responsive way, in line with the concept of inclusive learning. What we can offer you in this role: β€’ Rewarding teaching and learning. β€’ Supportive environment to design lessons that fit the needs of all learners. β€’ An environment that fosters personal growth and collaboration, to change lives through learning. β€’ We actively encourage applications from those seeking part-time roles, job shares, or other flexible working arrangements. Whether you're balancing caring responsibilities, pursuing personal goals, or simply seeking a healthier rhythm between life and work, we're here to support you. What you will bring to the role:
  • Experience of working as a teaching assistant or teacher or in a role supporting young people. - The ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt your approach to different learners. - Patience, empathy and resilience. - Proven organisational and communication skills. Looking to get into teaching?
