Big venue. Big energy. Brighton seafront. Brighton i360 is not your average hospitality site - and this is not your average GM role. Right on Brighton's seafront, i360 brings together a restaurant, bar, café, events space, private hires and visitor experience in one iconic destination. From seaside lunches and busy café trade to sunset drinks, corporate events, private parties and packed summer weekends, this is a site with serious scale and serious opportunity.
We're looking for a seasoned operator who knows how to lead big, busy, multi-faceted venues. Someone who can bring structure without killing the fun, drive process and performance without losing the guest experience, and lead from the front when the site is in full swing.
The Role
As a Senior General Manager, you'll lead the full operation across the restaurant, bar, café, events and visitor experience. You'll be responsible for:
- Driving sales, profitability and guest experience
- Leading a large team across multiple departments
- Managing high-volume trade, seasonal peaks and events
- Keeping labour, stock, standards and budgets under control
- Creating a positive, high-performing team culture
- Ensuring compliance, licensing and operational standards are sharp
- Spotting commercial opportunities and helping shape the next chapter of i360
About You
You'll already have experience running large, complex hospitality operations. You might come from restaurants, bars, hotels, visitor attractions, event venues, entertainment venues or destination-led hospitality but you'll need to be confident managing more than one moving part at once. You'll bring:
- Proven Senior GM operator experience
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Experience leading large teams
- Confidence managing busy, high-volume sites
- A hands-on, visible leadership style
- Strong standards, pace and operational discipline
- Personality, energy and calm under pressure
Why i360?
Because this is hospitality with a sea view - and no two days look the same. You'll get:
- £80,000 salary + service charge and bonus potential
- The chance to lead one of Brighton's most iconic venues
- A unique beachfront working environment
- Real scope to shape the site's future
- A fast-paced, high-profile role with plenty of energy, variety and opportunity
This is not a role for someone who wants to sit in the office and watch the venue happen around them. We need someone on the floor, in the action, leading and directing the team and making every part of the site work brilliantly together. Ready to lead one of Brighton's biggest and boldest venues? We'd love to hear from you.
