As Sales Manager, you’ll lead corporate sales, partnerships and group booking activity, helping drive revenue growth across ticket sales, private events and commercial partnerships. This is a hands-on commercial role suited to someone with proven hospitality, events, venue or visitor attraction sales experience, who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and driving revenue in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. You’ll lead a small sales team while working closely with marketing and operations to grow bookings, strengthen partnerships and maximise commercial opportunities across the attraction.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving sales & commercial growth
- Developing and delivering the corporate sales strategy for Brighton i360
- Driving revenue growth across corporate bookings, group experiences, ticket sales and private events
- Identifying new business opportunities across tourism, corporate and local partnership markets
- Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline across proactive outbound activity and inbound enquiries
- Supporting the development of commercial packages, offers and partnership opportunities
- Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities to improve conversion and revenue
Business development & partnerships:
- Building relationships with corporate clients, tourism partners, travel trade, agencies and local businesses
- Developing strategic partnerships that increase brand awareness, visitor numbers and commercial revenue
- Representing Brighton i360 at networking events, trade shows and industry meetings
- Managing key account relationships and encouraging repeat business opportunities
- Supporting familiarisation trips and partnership activity that generates leads and bookings
Team leadership & sales management:
- Leading, coaching and supporting a team of Sales Executives
- Setting clear targets and expectations across proactive sales activity
- Supporting the team with proposals, pipeline management and client relationships
- Creating a commercially focused and high-performing sales culture
- Monitoring pipeline health, conversion and sales activity across the team
Corporate bookings & customer experience:
- Overseeing corporate bookings, group experiences and private event enquiries
- Supporting the creation of tailored proposals and packages for clients
- Ensuring a smooth and professional customer journey from enquiry through to booking
- Working closely with operations teams to ensure successful delivery of events and experiences
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and relationship management throughout the sales process
Cross-functional collaboration:
- Working closely with marketing teams to support campaigns, promotions and lead generation activity
- Providing insight into customer trends, feedback and commercial opportunities
- Collaborating with operations teams around launches, events and key trading periods
- Keeping CRM systems, reporting and pipeline activity up to date and accurate
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in hospitality, events, venue, leisure or visitor attraction sales
- Previous experience leading, coaching or developing a sales team
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth and winning new business
- Experience managing corporate bookings, partnerships or group sales activity
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident managing multiple clients, enquiries and commercial priorities simultaneously
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines effectively
- Strong communication, presentation and proposal-writing skills
- Comfortable networking, attending events and representing a brand externally
- Highly organised, proactive and results-driven
- Experience working closely with marketing teams on campaigns or lead generation activity would be advantageous
- Knowledge of ticketing systems, booking platforms or distribution channels would be beneficial
