Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Building Control team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of applications, respond to dangerous structures, enforcement and demolition matters, and make a real impact on the safety and quality of the built environment.
Responsibilities
- Making professional judgements on the adequacy of building work and its compliance with regulations.
- Responding to and resolving dangerous structures.
- Determining and applying the most appropriate enforcement powers to address non-compliance.
- Providing advice on relevant legislation and associated quality assurance systems.
- As part of the team, helping deliver a high-quality Building Control service in line with legislation and professional standards.
