The staff and children of Hertford Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing adult to join our lunchtime team between the hours of 11.45am and 1.15pm. Part time: 7.5 hours per week, term-time only. Paid weeks per year: 42.8 (inclusive of holiday entitlement). Fixed term: Fixed Term to 31 August 2027. Start date: As soon as possible.
About the Role
- Supervise our children during lunchtimes, both in the playground and in the lunch hall.
- Have a kind, firm and fair approach with children from Reception to Year 6.
- Be able to support the children to engage in play and to help them sort out any challenges that arise.
- Be prepared to go outside in most weathers or supervise play in the classrooms if the weather is really bad.
Hertford is a small primary school in Holling dean, our We CAN values; challenge, aspire and nurture are integral to all parts of our day. We are a friendly team who support each other and work together to get the best outcomes for our pupils.
