The staff and children of Hertford Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing adult to join our lunchtime team between the hours of 11.45am and 1.15pm. Part time: 7.5 hours per week, term-time only. Paid weeks per year: 42.8 (inclusive of holiday entitlement). Fixed term: Fixed Term to 31 August 2027. Start date: As soon as possible.
About the Role
- Supervise our children during lunchtimes, both in the playground and in the lunch hall.
- Have a kind, firm and fair approach with children from Reception to Year 6.
- Be able to support the children to engage in play and to help them sort out any challenges that arise.
- Be prepared to go outside in most weathers or supervise play in the classrooms if the weather is really bad.
Hertford is a small primary school in Holling dean, our We CAN values; challenge, aspire and nurture are integral to all parts of our day. We are a friendly team who support each other and work together to get the best outcomes for our pupils.
There will be an opportunity to visit the school on Friday 4th September at 1.45pm, please let the school office know if you are able to attend. If you are not able to attend on this date but would like another opportunity, please get in touch and we may be able to accommodate this.
