The predicted salary is between 34434 - 42839 £ per year.
We are looking for engineers to support the delivery of our ambitious transport capital programme. Our work includes:
- Providing new active travel routes, including our A259 walking and cycling scheme.
- Delivery of bus priority measures, adding to our nationally recognised network.
- Enhancing the city’s public realm through schemes such as the transformative Valley Gardens project.
- Delivering improvements to our city’s streets to make them safer and more accessible, as well as make them more resilient to the impacts of climate change, for example by introducing tree planting and Sustainable Urban Drainage schemes.
We are recruiting a Senior Project Engineer and an Assistant Project Engineer which will play key roles in the delivery of this exciting programme. This will include designing our upcoming schemes, appointing contractors and supervising the implementation of works.
For the Assistant Engineer role, you will have good experience of using AutoCAD. You will ideally have experience in highways setting and have an interest in developing your career in the transport sector.
Contract type: This role is permanent.
