Contractual hours: 37. Package: We are pleased to offer a wide range of benefits to support you and your wellbeing. In this post, you will be helping to support the most vulnerable children and young people across the City, by supporting our Family Help and Protection staff in the Families, Children and Wellbeing Directorate. If you are passionate about data and love supporting colleagues to use ICT systems effectively, we would like you to join our Performance & Safeguarding Unit in the Families, Children and Wellbeing Directorate. Contract: 2 x Full-time Fixed Term until 31 March 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage data relating to Family Help and Protection.
  • Support other staff to improve the quality and consistency of recording.
  • Use a number of information systems to record and report on a wide range of information about families and young people across the city, including Microsoft Excel, Power BI and our case management system (Eclipse), and other proprietary systems.
  • Contribute to providing guidance and instruction to support information system use within Family Help and Protection.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only. We are a workplace that supports flexibility and employee wellbeing in the way we work whilst providing the best service for our customers. Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. These will be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
