Job description
1 Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Scale 6) and Teaching Assistant (Scale 4a) combined role.
LGA Scale 4A - £28,153-£29,071 pro rata
Hourly rate is £14.83 - £15.31
LGA Scale 6 - £33,119-£34,811
Hourly rate is £17.17-£18.04
We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school.
A minimum of seven hours per week will be spent in the role of HLTA, covering whole classes for PPA. (All planning is done by the class teacher; the HLTA is responsible for preparing resources and delivering the learning.)
The remainder of this 30-hour role will be spent working as a Teaching Assistant in classrooms.
Part-time: 30 hours per week, term-time only.

Start date:As soon as possible or by Monday 2 nd November 2026
