Business Analyst in Hove

About the role

This is a great opportunity to contribute to complex change across key corporate services. You'll work closely with service teams, IT & Digital colleagues and suppliers to understand current ways of working, identify issues and support the delivery of practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work with teams to understand how services currently operate and where improvements are needed
• Run workshops, interviews and working sessions to build shared understanding of problems and priorities
• Analyse processes, systems and data to identify issues, risks and opportunities
• Define clear requirements and produce outputs such as process maps, user stories, options appraisals, etc.
• Support projects through planning, testing, implementation and transition to business as usual
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to different audiences

About you

You'll bring experience as a Business Analyst working on complex change, whether in systems, services or processes.

• Use your analytical skills to break down problems and identify practical improvements
• Build strong relationships and work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops and gather requirements that lead to clear, agreed outcomes
• Produce structured, easy-to-understand outputs that support delivery
• Manage your own workload and work independently when needed

Contract

1 Year fixed term contract.

Salary

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
