Job introduction

Balfour Primary School requires an experienced, committed, adaptable and enthusiastic HLTA to join our hardworking team. The right person will be able to work as a team member predominately covering classes across the primary age range, but also working with small groups.

Balfour Primary School is a thriving and vibrant school at the heart of the Surrenden Campus serving the Preston Park, Fiveways and Hollingbury communities. Our school is a large primary school with over 700 pupils on roll. We are very proud of:

Hours: The post is term-time only, 31.25 hours per week. 8:30am – 3:45pm

Paid weeks per year: (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Fixed term: This post is initially fixed term until 31/08/2026 and will be reviewed at that time.

Start date: As soon as possible
