This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of driving innovation across the Families, Children and Wellbeing directorate.

As a confident and experienced Programme Manager, preferably within a Local Authority setting, you will be used to managing competing priorities and understanding the balance between the need to drive innovation forward against the day to day delivery and the challenges this presents. You should be comfortable engaging with all stakeholders understanding the nuances across the system as a whole. The programmes may impact on different areas within the council and across our health and voluntary sector partners, therefore a degree of sensitivity is required in handling the conversations.

Regular updates to senior management will be required identifying the progress of the programmes, risks and mitigations. These should be clear and succinct to ensure maximum impact.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
