We are looking for cleaners to join an established team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at this large secondary school. The team works in areas across a large and varied site, managed by a team leader. The duties include a wide range of general school cleaning and restocking and duties include some occasional lifting.

At Blatchington Mill we value all staff and have established safe ways of working with structures in place to keep everyone as healthy as possible.

Paid weeks per year: 45.05 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Start date: As soon as possible

About the role

This is a great chance to join a committed Facilities Team as part of this happy and successful school. Blatchington Mill School expects all staff to adhere to a rigorous approach to health and safety and appropriate training is provided for all staff.

Most roles are term time only but there is the opportunity for holiday working as well.

The full time salary for this role is £26,403 per annum, however for the part time role the salary will be prorated accordingly (as above), pay is the same each month of the year. The hourly rate for the post is currently £13.69.

There is the opportunity to join the local government pension scheme.
