We are looking to recruit a new Street Contract Manager. This is a fairly new role created to lead the strategic development of the Council’s Street Lighting Service, including the management of a comprehensive package of key contracts and delivery of complex, innovative projects to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all users, including residents, visitors and stakeholders.
This is an exciting time to join Brighton & Hove City Council within the Network Management team. We have an ambitious range of projects to roll out across the city. Though much has already been achieved, much still needs to be done to improve services which will ensure the successful delivery of current projects, as well as developing new ones.
This is a newly created post that reports within Projects and Engineering and will be fundamental to the organisation. You will have a track record of successfully developing and delivering service improvements, and you will also have a strong customer ethos, a collaborative approach and excellent communication skills across a broad range of diverse groups.
